Weekly Note #142 — Rotation Under the Surface

From: Teniel TradesSun 07:30 ET

This week. Indexes printed new highs while breadth quietly rolled over. Not a signal on its own — but a reason to tighten stops, not add size.

One trade. Closed AAPL long for +1.9R after partialing into the first swing. The exit rule beat the thesis by a full leg — a good reminder that process pays.

One idea. A defined-risk SPY put spread as a hedge against a long swing book. Sized so max loss equals a single stop-out on the book.

Reading. Two paragraphs from a mid-cycle Druckenmiller interview that I keep coming back to.
